A Program for Life-Transformation
House of Metamorphosis (HOM) provides twenty-four hour, long-term, residential alcohol and other drug treatment services to the community. HOM is committed to providing substance abuse treatment services to a large diverse population. Based on the foundation of the therapeutic community model, HOM provides substance abuse education, prevention, mental health, and residential treatment services and other supportive services to facilitate the individuals' successful re-entry into society as productive citizens.
HOM’s focus of services are directed toward behavior modification. Our organization’s approach to substance abusers' recovery is achieved through structured program services consisting of treatment planning, individual and group counseling, vocational training, counseling, job related referrals, family referrals, support groups, and educational programs. These are direct services provided to all participants of the HOM program. HOM also provides psychological services and parenting classes to program participants through established and ongoing linkages between HOM and other community based social services providers. In addition, all participants of HOM are provided HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention educational classes.
HOM is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization, as defined by the California Franchise Tax Board, and is in part funded by the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency, Alcohol and Drug Services.
